Nicolette van Doorn finishes her Master in Cultural Sciences in Amsterdam and sets off for Madrid to improve her Spanish. She falls in love with Spain and stays for a couple of years, working as a translator and Dutch language teacher. Currently she is back in Amsterdam, where she teaches Dutch as a second language. In the winter she can be found in her photography lab or writing articles and poems. On sunny days she prefers to be outside with a camera, or surrounded by friends.
